Terracotta at Nikoline and Svend
When Nikoline and Svend, owners of Spacon & X, set out to renovate their newly acquired "Kartoffelrække" house from 1889 in Copenhagen, it was important for them to stay true to the house's architecture and original character, while also adding their personal touch to their new home. Many of the furniture pieces in the house are their own designs from previous projects.
The rectangular light terracotta tiles on the ground floor of the house are from our Italian supplier south of Naples, who has crafted these classic clay tiles for decades. The tiles perfectly complement ths old and simple house, creating a connection between the home's yellow brick facade and its interior.
